My food thing

Once i get a degree in culinary or something related to cooking am down to open my business in south central cause there arent many family restaurants or bakery around here. I want to have a variety of food themes and i want it to be known for that.

Its Pink Taco Time

Pink Taco is a mexican restaurant which just open last summer. It's located in Century City. I went there with my friend Maria. At first I thought it was going to be like any other Mexican food restaurant all "americanized" for example chillis and chipotle restaurant. But I thought wrong the menu is bomb. And what i like the most is that MEXICANS are the ones handling the food. Another thing i like about this restaurant is the decoration interior and exterior outside they have glass beer bottles stuck in a wall then in another wall there's la Virgen de Guadalupe. In the interior there are low-rider bikes hangin on a wall, pictures from Mister Cartoon, picture frames from old school mexican artist and even fighters from Lucha Libre,and they have people from our mexican history like Zapata and some mexican art too. Its cool and i recommend it!

Sopes and Tacos

Sopes and tacos are bomb. I love them alot even though they make you fat. I like them with carne asada. I eat tacos maybe 5 times a month. I rather eat tacos and sopes rather than hamburgers and hot dogs. I think every one in the world should love tacos just like I do..yeeaa. I think i'll be eatin tacos and sopes until my teeth fall of.

Steph birthday...yyeeeeaah

Steph bday was on the 4/22. Am happy about it cause she is finally legit. That day we went out to eat at the Placita Olvera. We ate some bombass Mexican food. Steph was happy cause she ate some Ceviche and I ate a Quesadilla I liked it alot. It was expensive but it was steph birthday. I recommend that restaurant which is called "LA GOLONDRINA CAFE" oh and the margaritas are good too.

Cooking

Most people dont like cooking but they like eating. I used to be one of them i never bother asking my mom to teach me. Now that i'm grown i am more concern about learning for many reasons. One of them is cause its embarrasing when they asked you if you know how to cook? and you say no. Another reason is when it gets to the point you want to move on in life as in moving out from moms house and not knowing how to cook a meal. Ever since I took that cooking class at trade tech i am more interesting in cooking even though it takes patience and dedication to it if you are serious about it you'll become a good cook.

culinary class

About 2 months ago I went to trade tech college to start the intro for Culinary carreer. It takes about 2 years to be able to become an official culinarian. I finish the intro class about 3 weeks ago. I passed with a "C". I'm not to proud of it because i knew i could've done much better. But i'll try harder next time to get at least a "B".
